Going to the Prince George Public Library is always a treat. I spent a long period of my life going to the library because it was a free way to get entertainment for me and my sister because our family did not have a lot of money growing up. I enjoyed going back and it was a full circle moment for my family, we invested in the learning garden and have donated a lot of money to the library. I always enjoy public spaces that allow you to be alone, most people in a library can go knowing they will have privacy. It was nice to visit and see how the building had changed. It brought back the memory of my grade 5 field trip to the Prince George Public Library and I was recognized by the workers and I was the only kid with a library card. It was very eye opening how differently people lived. It was the same year I learned that many people did not know how to use a dictionary. It taught me that people were different and were raised differently.
